Very nice, clean, pocket sized book which was initially published in 1894, then again in 1898 and here in 1900. The condition is quite good and the book is small at 4"x 6" with very clean bright end papers and pages. The exterior shows a little rubbing to the cloth at the top and bottom of the spine, but no loss of fabric. There are 19 chapters in 229 pages. There was also a tiny tear to top edge at the very back of the book, all of which were repaired by me with tiny pieces of almost invisible and non-browning archival tape. I also just noticed a clean snip to the corner of the last blank page, but, fortunately, the back end paper was not involved. The author was Speaker of the House of Representatives.
