Charles Towne Birth of a City (Charleston, South Caroolina 1983)

What a handsome oversized booklet about the history of the Landing at Charles Towne in the Carolina Colony in 1670 to 1911. There's profuse illustrations throughout -- drawings, photographs and maps -- all of which add depth to the text which is also substantial itself. The booklet measures 9-1/4" x 12-1/4 and has 55 pages. It's is clean and tightly bound and there are no names or writing. The only defect is a small tear to top edge of the back cover which I repaired inside with almost invisible archival tape. SHIPS For $2 media mail in U.S.
