Beautiful, pristine, magazine with jut a bit of rusting to staples I bought a lot of these at auction and all are in this wonderful condition. I was excited to see a literary brand name that I recognized in this issue too -- that of William Dean Howell, a novelist, playwright and literary critic of his time. In this issue he has the first story which is titled "The Coast of Bohemia." Other stories discuss making Battenburg lace; a Valentine revival with many ideas for celebrating the day; the division of family income; making a skirt; fashion; the new mould crochet; and a New England miracle written by a railroad engineer relating his experience. Magazine measures 11-1/2" x 16-1/2" and has 36 pages.Nice ad for bikes on back cover.
