I was so happy to find a copy of this magazine still hanging on to the overhang known as the yapped edge. They always get tiny tears, but some end up falling off in spots and then are clipped by the owner. This one has the tiny tears, but they've been repaired by me with discreet archival tape. This is a good issue too with two stories by well known authors -- "A Christmas Courtship" by Edith Wharton and illustrated by Rose Cecil O'Neill, the artist who gave us the kewpie doll; and "A Christmas Surrender" by Ralph Henry Barbour. Articles cover these topics: New York City's Wonders in 1909; Captains of Industry (Norton Goddard, Francis Henry Clergue); Zigzag Toboganning; home-made windmills in in Prairie States; and Zion The Capital of the Jewish Nation. Magazine measures 7" x 9-1/2" and is clean and tightly bound.
