The inside of this guide book is clean and tightly bound and has no names or writing. The plastic spiral which binds it isn't cracked and there is only one small piece of it missing at bottom of spine, but all pages are nicely adhered. There is also a crisp, pristine geological map at the back cover inserted into a clean white envelope designed for the purpose. Text is comprised of four trips: Geology of the Appalachian Highlands of Eastern-Central New York, Southern Vermont, and Southern New Hampshire; Outstanding Pematites of Maine and New Hampshire; Geology of the "Chelmsford Granite" Area; and Glacial Geology in the Buzzards Bay Region and Western Cape Cod. Book includes step by step itineraries, plus many geological tables and maps, as well as informational text. Cover, as you cans see from the photo, has toned in areas and there is small snip off the top corner at back. A crease under it has been stabilized on reverse by me with almost invisible archival tape. Measures 8-1/2" x 11" and has 142 pages.
