Very clean, attractive booklet which tells the story of the Ungers, first with a back story, and then with Maynard's involvement in WWIT. He was a veteran, a Boy Scout worker in many positions, a teacher, and a prisoner of war. The booklet is made simply, as many autobiographical books are, and is very interesting. There are many photographs and letters throughout the text which cover 64 pages. The booklet measures 8-1/2" x 11" and is clean. The most unique thing here is a recipe for black bread which he learned to make while in Germany.Twenty per cent of the ingredients was tree flour. You'll have to read it to get it!
