I bought this book predominately because it's a first edition signed by the author. There's a couple tiny spots to the back board and creasing to the lower back corner, but the worst was what I hoped Icould fix. I gently tore off a piece of Japan paper covering the lower two inches of the spine and around to the front. It had been used to cover the loss of a small piece of the front board at the lower outer hinge. The only way to save it was to use brown book tape to the spine which you can see I did. The book measures 5-1/4" x 7" and has 133 pages with full page photographs. The text is in two parts: The Indians Their Customs, Legends, and Beliefs; and The Story of Yosemite itself.
