This is the most stunning exhbit catalog I've seen ina long time. The colors are like neon and what seems to be paintings are not. The artist creates three dimensional landscapes using found objects. It's fun to find them, so I'm just goign to tell three that I saw -- hair curlers, cans, and drink straws. The rest is up to you! After he creates his scapes LaChapelle uses a camera as the photographer he is to turn then into gorgeous photogrphs. All works are in full color and printd on substantial paper. The catalog also has two essays -- "Fables of Peak Everything" and "The Passion of David LaChapelle." The catalog was created for the exhibit at Robilant & Voena Gallery from May 16 to June 18, 2014. (Small Art Case 20, To Far Right)
