These beautiful people from the early 1900's have lived with me for 30 years. It's amazing that the photographer didn't state his name, his business, and where he lived. Many times I wondered if I should take the frame apart and see if any names were hidden. I didn't until this morning. The original wooden frame has a small piece of wood at the lower left corner and a small water stain to the upper right corner of the mat. The wood backing had once been covered with paper, but it was so brittle it just fell away, but I found a name -- George W. Hueheol and a hard to read address. no names for the pretty people though. I also replaced the brittle back.
