New Universal Self-Pronouncing Dictionary With An Encyclopedic Appendix 1931

This IS a handy little dictionary to put in a pocket, or a purse. You never know when you need to look up a definition or spelling a word. The book is very handsome with gilt on all three exterior page edges, twelve thumb indentions to take you to on the alphabet. There are no names or writing an everythign is clean and tightly bound. The face board says Wells College, Aurora, New York. But the best part was the first word I saw -- namby-pamby!
