This book is the work of two well-known writers -- Elbert Hubbard and John Burroghs. The booklet is bound in a hard cover and measures 5-1/2" x 8" with 20 pages printed on beautiful paper. The book is tighly bound and has only a few small defects -- a little wear to lower corners. There is a photograph at the frontis in full page. As are the other two Burroughs booklets this one shelters extra ephemera includng a small photograph of "Slatsides in John Burroughs Country, October 8th, 1930, Signed by Sutton." There is also a member's ticket to John Burough's Memorial Association which admit friends to Slabsides. Also included is ad advertisement whih is offering a bronzed reproduction of this famous piece made by Julius Felek. Insde are books which could be purchased. As for Slabsides, it was the rustic cabin of John Burroughs. It was built in 1895 a mile and a half from his home on the Hudson. [AG. /NAT HIST ]
