The Pilgrim's Progress. Two Volumes, 1886

These two small volumes are elegantly made. They measure 4-1/2" x 6-1/4"and have 410 pages. The boards are covered with marbeled paper over boards and more marbeled paper for end pages.The spines are made of leather and also on the corners both front and back and also the top edges of the text block andt he golden top edge of each volume and the the spines are decorated with five bands each. Pilgrim's Progress is a religous classic and here iit s printed on nice paper none of which are not foxed. The set would be a lovely gft for the right person.
