1926 hardcover bound in dark green cloth stamped in gilt. Top edge is orange. Light wear to corners and spine ends. There is an inscription in green ink to the front end paper giving the date November 18, '26 and mentioning "Skolan" - a pet Irish Wolfhound - who died in the same year the book was released. The fly leaves at front and rear of the book are foxed; otherwise clean. Illustrated with tipped-on black & white plates by Edwin Megargee.
