Gleanings by an Undergraduate

Author's first book, published 1923. Hardcover in blue buff paper-covered boards, with paste-on ivory title label on spine. Signed, "Sincerely Yours, William Soutar" on title page. Front endpaper bears a gift inscription to one Anne Hambleton from a Frances R Soutar. The covers have a bit of wear, with some bumping to lower corner and a little wrinkling to the paper covering the boards. A fairly scarce title; this copy signed by a poet who has only in the last twenty or so years become recognized as one of the finest Scots poets of last century.
