Albertina Kerr Center has been in Portland, Oregon for over a century, devoted to caring and supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and other social barriers. At the time of this cookbook, they had a public restaurant, staffed almost entirely by volunteers. "The image created by Albertina's is that of serving a delicious three-course luncheon in a gracious private home. Emphasis is on serving fresh produce in season, and that which is Oregon grown." The envelope of menus is a very nice addition to this copy.
