Tan cloth spine over blue paper-covered boards, title labels on spine & front cover, under typographic dust jacket priced at 6/- net. DJ split at joint between front panel & front flap, chip to bottom of spine & bottom inch of rear panel near spine, removing "T" from West, joint at rear flap partially split. A scarce example of a fragile dust jacket. Book itself fine, pages unopened--you can be the first to read this! Vita Sackville-West was important for many literary reasons, but she was also a noted garden designer: this book of poetry is about gardens, and as such is a nice cross-over between two parts of her life. She is famously the inspiration for the main character of Virginia Woolf's Orlando.
