DJ has slight wear to top of spine panel. Richard Cobden-Sanderson was the son of T.J. C-S. Although he established himself more as a publisher than an artist or designer like his father, he "earned a reputation for publishing books noted for the quality of their content and presentation." (Univ. Delaware) This is a lovely example of one such book. Clare was known as the "peasant poet" during his lifetime--this certainly appealed to later readers who find him easy to connect with.
