Full blue cloth with brown lettering & illustration to front cover and spine, printed endpapers, 7-1/4" x 5-3/4", four plate illustrations, 111 pp. First hardcover edition per Latimore-Haskell's reasoning (pp. 1-2). Not mentioned in the bibliography is a dustwrapper. This has clear cellophane wrapper which has missing sections at upper & lower edges, wrinkling from age, and clear conformity to binding from being on it for so long. Probably not original, but lit has definitely covered the book for a long time. The only real flaw to the book is a vertical blemish to the front board. A lovely copy of the second book illustrated by Rackham. This hardcover edition was preceded by one month by the wrappered edition.
