Minor shelf/edge wear, soiling to dark brick red cloth boards with dark mustard titles - corners lightly bumped with a touch of wear to the tips. Moderate shelf/edge wear, soiling and chipping to original and unclipped DJ, (large chip missing from front panel) spine darkened on DJ - now in mylar. Percy Keese Fitzhugh (September 7, 1876 July 5, 1950) was an American author of nearly 100 books for children and young adults. The bulk of his work, having a Boy Scouting theme, revolves around the fictional town of Bridgeboro, New Jersey. Major characters included Tom Slade, Pee-Wee Harris, Roy Blakeley, and Westy Martin. Each of these characters had their own, distinctly different, series of books. Scarce. Very respectable First Edition in original DJ. Mattson #51100.LOC SSS-09
