Hardcover, First Edition 1926 ( All ads on DJ match the current title) Grosset & Dunlap 218 pages, no ads in back of book. Very Good, in a VG DJ. Minor shelf/edge wear, soiling to red cloth boards with dark mustard titles - corners lightly bumped with a touch of wear to the tips. Minor shelf/edge wear and soiling to original and unclipped DJ, spine darkened on DJ - now in mylar. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and crisp. This is the thirteenth book in the Roy Blakeley series. Illustrated by H. S. Barbour and cover art by Thomas Clarity. Percy Keese Fitzhugh (September 7, 1876 July 5, 1950) was an American author of nearly 100 books for children and young adults. The bulk of his work, having a Boy Scouting theme, revolves around the fictional town of Bridgeboro, New Jersey. Major characters included Tom Slade, Pee-Wee Harris, Roy Blakeley, and Westy Martin. Each of these characters had their own, distinctly different, series of books. Scarce. Very respectable First Edition in original DJ. Mattson #51100.LOC SSS-09
