Thereafter, Zeppelins were used in thousands of war flights during the first World War. This text vividly recounts the experiences of a naval architect who joined Count Zeppelins staff in 1913 and captained Zeppelins both before and during the war. In addition to the personal accounts of other Zeppelin commanders, official records of the Allied Governments and Germany were examined to ensure accuracy.
