Hardcover with DJ, early reprint (Format I per AXE) (circa 1939) Grosset & Dunlap 215 pages. Very Good+, in a VG DJ. Purple cloth boards with black titles - corners sharp. Moderate shelf/edge wear and rubbing to unclipped DJ - now in mylar. Spine of DJ very lightly faded. A touch of foxing to textblock edges and the backside of the frontispiece. Ferdinand E. Warren (illustrator). Green publishers topstain. Previous owner name and address on green and white (variant) Illustrated end papers and the half-title page. All pages are clean and unmarked. Front interior flap of DJ lists the last title - The Clue in the Cobweb which puts this being published in 1939. Format I per AXE. All in all a very respectable and clean copy of the 1st Dana Girls Mystery Stories reprinted in 1939. LOC SSS-10
