Blue cloth boards with gilt spine and cover titles - corners sharp. Only flaw is the circular library hand stamp of the previous owner (IHF) on the FFEP. Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to DJ - now in mylar. No writing or underlining of text - all pages are clean and unmarked. Very detailed research about Tokali Church explaining every single scene with the translations of Greek text. Laid in are two postcards for the Vaults Of heaven, Visions Of Byzantium exhibit of Feb 4, 2011, one of which is addressed to Professor Ilene Forsyth. From the library of Professor Ilene Forsyth, professor emerita and alumna of the University of Michigan and a published author as well. Her husband George Forsyth, was chairman of the art history department at Michigan from 1947 to 1961, when he became director of the university's Kelsey Museum of Archeology.
