Vintage Hardcover with DJ, 1927 Saalfield 223 pages. Very Good+, in a VG DJ. Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to dark green cloth boards with black titles - corners sharp. Minor shelf/edge wear, chipping and dust soiling to DJ - now in mylar. Spine of DJ is printed "Series No. 3" by the publisher. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean, unmarked and toned (due to cheap paper). Plain paper frontispiece. This is number 1 in a series of 3 reprints by Saalfield called The Northland Series. The original series was published by A. L. Burt and had 10 books in the series. Saalfield took numbers 4, 5 and 6 of that series and made them 1, 2 and 3 in the Northland Series. Per Mattson #42900. Author Milton Richards was the pseudonym of Milo Milton Oblinger (b. February 16, 1890, Arlington, Minnesota - d. September 1963, Minneapolis, Minnesota) who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War I. A very respectable vintage copy with DJ.
