Vintage Softcover Magazine, September 1922 Volume III, Number 9, Detroit Masonic Temple Association, Unpaginated (approx 330 pages). Good+, in illustrated wraps. Moderate shelf/edge wear to covers and spine edges. Front cover and rear cover have one closed tear each with some minor dust soiling. First page states that it is a supplement and is a program dedicated to the laying of a new cornerstone of the New Masonic Temple of Detroit, Mich dated September 18, 1922. This magazine not only shows the history of the masonic members in Detroit but also the local businesses and temper of the times as well. Loaded with vintage advertising, (Rickenbacker, Tuarc, Hupmobile, Reo, Earl Motors, Oakland Motor Cars, Maxwell and many others) not to mention all the other businesses in Detroit at that time (there are thousands of little ads from companies that are no more and the copy is fascinating), portraits of prominent Detroiters and Masons and their stories as well. The outstanding quality of the products for sale in those days is still unmatched. Today, we are UNABLE to do what our grandfathers did. Only one other copy in one library per Worldcat. Very Scarce.
