Vintage Softcover, Stated First Edition (on rear Cover) 1943, International Workers Order, NY, 46 pages. Good+, in illustrated wraps. Minor shelf/edge wear and moderate dust soiling to covers. Color illustrations by Hugo Gellert. Rear cover states: First Edition, Issued by International Workers Order as a contribution to the war effort in the following langusges: Carpathorussian, Croation, Czech, English, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Jewish, Polish, Roumanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish and Ukrainian. This is in English. Influential speech given by Vice-President Wallace at the Commodore Hotel in NYC in May of 1942. Wallace calls for an end to the "slave world" and for all Americans to fight for and defend the values we hold dear. His speech addresses the failures of the past (WWI) and the current struggle against Adolf Hitler. No other copies online but there are many in libraries. A very respectable and rather scarce First Edition by the International Workers Order.LOC SSS-04
