The purpose of this book is to present the science and the practice of Irrigation Engineering in a concise form comprising practically all the modern developments. First Edition was 1946. Untitled green cloth over thin boards, Volume I with frontispiece portrait of author, many additional photographs, diagrams, charts, maps, etc., sewn-in bookmarks. ; 7-1/2" x 9-1/2"; xviii, 418+vi, [419]-841 pp; Volume I only retains its original dust wrapper over the green boards, jacket is edgeworn and missing a portion of the rear panel at the bottom. The table of contents calls for a Volume III of plates which is not present. Minor wear to covers, Bookseller stamp of Mirza Book Agency on FFEPs, Volume I FFEP has tears at edge, no additional writing.
