Post-war instruction manual for [transmission] Overdrive types Warner R-10 and R-11, as used on cars from Ford, Frazer, Hudson, Kaiser, Lincolc, Mercury, Nash, Packard, Studebaker and Willys. Stapled white wraps, 7-hole punched, cover illustration of product, illustrated within. Laid in is a magazine ad for this product with the tag line "BIGGER GAS MILEAGE Sold Me on B-W Overdrive!". An ad on the reverse of this sheet offers a 1949 copyright. ; 8-1/2" x 11"; 15 pp; A few spots of foxing mostly around the edges. Toning to first two pages (as where an ad laid); the ad is now encased in plastic. The manual is free of tears or writing. The ad has been folded, slight damage to left edge where it was torn roughly, it has one phrase underlined and some additional inked notations in the bottom margin.
