A salesman's dummy or sample book. Publishers green cloth, front cover decorated with flowers in yellow and light green and with gilt lettering. A pastedown to the FFEP describes the Christy Edition - the commission to Mr. Christy to produce, 112 pp, 13 full-color pictures, in a box, etc. Includes color frontispiece, decorated title page, two additional color plates, sample text pages with additional illustrations (some repeated several times), and a number of blank pages at the end. ; 9" x 11-1/2"; Front board with spots of soiling along edge, a 1-1/2" frayed area along right edge and some wear at the corners. Rear board with light scratches and corner wear. Rippling to front free endpaper pastedown with evidence of label removal inside front cover. No inscriptions, pages are clean and unmarked.
