He was one of the very first artists to be represented in MoMA's permanent collection after its 1929 founding. He was an esteemed teacher; Bellows and Hopper were students. Clean throughout, tight binding. Endpapers are offset by something onetime laid-in. Boards are lightly rubbed and faded at the edges and margins.The etching is protected by an overlay.
