Lovecraft's storyFACTS CONCERNING THE LATE ARTHUR JERMYN, is glowingly praised by Samuel Loveman, in a multi column review, "Stories of terror have been, since the days of Poe down to Bierce and Thomas Burke, purely the medium of an exploitation. . [what Mr. Lovecraft has written] iw what may well be called a masterpiece in handling the subtle but hair-raising material. . . . Mr. Lovecraft conjures up an unholy atmosphere. . . something akin to the Shakesperian activity of Macbeth. " And this is only a few sentences of the lengthy praise. This issue is misdated.
