FANTASY COMMENTATOR was primarily devoted to articles dealing with various aspects of Fantasy and Science Fiction, rather than fans submitting their fictions, or fan squabbles. Sam Moskowitz, for instance, serialized the first draft of his Fanzine History, THE IMMORTAL STORM, in the pages of FC. A. Langly Searles continued column, FORGOTTEN CREATORS OF GHOSTS, provided bio/bibliographical information about current, and neglected ghost story writers of the past; this issue exploring Dick Donovan. If you're a pulp collector, Fantasy in the Munsey magazines is an excellent bibliography by William H. Evans. the Clearly printed, well laid out and presented, they took their time with this publication. These early issues deserve to be reprinted. Sam Moskowitz continued FANTASY COMMENTATOR well into the 1980's. This copy has a yellow title-page. A very good copy.
