FANTASY COMMENTATOR was primarily devoted to articles dealing with various aspects of Fantasy and Science Fiction, rather than fans submitting their fictions, or fan squabbles. Langly Searles continued column, FORGOTTEN CREATORS OF GHOSTS, provided bio/bibliographical information about current, and neglected ghost story writers of the past; this issue exploring Bessie Kyfen-Faylor. PAPERBACK FANTASY IN ENGLAND, 1941-45, by R. George Medhurst.Fantasy in the Munsey magazines by William H. Evans. And a poem by William Hope Hodgson. They took their time with this publication; nicely printed. These early issues deserve to be reprinted. Sam Moskowitz continued FANTASY COMMENTATOR well into the 1980's.
