8vo Clean, tight with light edgewear, including spine-end bumps. Top-edge, cover and spine gilt lettering. Striking design. Two school district library stamps: one on each endpaper. This is the only evidence of its ex-library character. In any event, it appears not to have circulated. Rear cover panel has one white spot near spine gutter, a smaller one is nearby and there are two or three tiny spots adjacent. Olive green cover boards include beautiful decorations on cover. Tissue paper intact after frontispiece. All in all, a gorgeous item that would be near-fine except for stamps.
