French Revolutionary Pamphlets at the University of Florida

This list of French Revolutionary pamphlets is a list of those pamphlets acquired by the History Department of the University of Florida in 1957. These pamphlets represent only a fraction of the University Libraries' holdings. Many others are in the general collection where they are catalogued and classified individually. To retrieve them to be included in this list was considered impractical and too costly a task. In general, the List of French Revolutionary Pamphlets published in the Bulletin of the New York Public Library is the most popular among historians of the period, and for this reason has been chosen as the authority for entries of authors and corporate bodies, official and unofficial. However the present list differs from the New York work in that institutions are not here listed separately, but together alphabetically with authors. The original spelling of the pamphlets has been retained in this list, even though occasionally erroneous. Volume shows only mild shelf-wear, else fine.
