Loose leaf, two-ring binder with punched hole pages. Binding is cracked in front and soiled, some underlining of pages. The author was the second president of G.I.A. and previously had been director of their New York laboratory. The data in this publication had been compiled by the author and used as his lab notes. With his passing, the notes were published in book form by Mark Bandy, Richard Liddicoat, Robert Shipley and others in memory of Dr. Wigglesworth. The contents describe 62 gem minerals/materials with their synonyms, physical properties and optical data. Still a useful reference. 62 pages, plus preface and photograph of author. SCARCE.
