He also gathered folk tunes from rural Appalachia. This is a varied lot of English tunes/dances. All of these items present the songs arranged for piano/voice with dance instructions. The five School Songs and Children's Singing Games books also include Tonic Sol-fa notation. Six items are standard-sized (see photos) single sheets, one is an octavo-sized hardbound (see photo for Table of Contents), and five are (soft or no cover) octavo-sized collections.
