ALBUM: Meet Floyd Cramer

For Piano Solo. See photo for Table of Contents. Floyd Cramer (1933-97) was a noted pianist who was one of the architects of the Nashville sound. He first gained fame as a session player, working most famously with Elvis Presley. He was known for his "slip-note" piano style, essentially a whole-tone slur, in which one note slides into another. This songbook is undated, but judging from the included songs, probably dates from the 1960s. Scarce.
