For Instrumental Ensemble/Theater Orchestra. The song was originally written in 1909 and underwent a series of revisions before Mussolini commissioned Salvator Gotta (in 1924) to write the words for what became the official hymn of the Italian National Fascist Party, regime, and army. It was also the unofficial national anthem of the Kingdom of Italy between 1924 and 1943. This edition appears to date from that latter time period. Gratefully, no lyrics are included.
