Glenn Miller's book was intended as a handbook for aspiring arrangers, providing practical information on creating arrangements, rather than discussions of theory, harmony, composition, etc. When originally published, two sample arrangements were inserted in the back, but these are absent. Dark red cloth cover with gold-toned title. A black marker was used to obliterate what appears to be the name of a previous owner on the inner front paste-down, but the book is otherwise free of marks or damage. Spine and binding are intact. Scarce.
