Both volumes 1&2 Hardcovers in full original Red leather boards with tooled gilded eagles to the boards and spines with five flat bands . This is one of 200 copies this being 198 of the Edition De Luxe . Flowered end leaves top edge gilt other edges not trimed. With 88 full page plates 44 images in sepia tone and 42 black & white with two color frontispieces. This is the scarce in the original red leather De Luxe Edition with a very decorative gilt finish with Eagles at the center and corners and covered in gilt stars ( see image ). Condition : Very Good plus ,with edge ware and rubs , interior is clean and the binding is tight .Volume two inside front board hinge is cracked but binding is tight .Heavy set and extra postage will be needed. No internation orders on this set. Size: 4to - over 9 - 12" tall
