Laura Seeley was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Andover, a suburb just south of Salem, New Hampshire. Laura is the recipient of the Georgia Author of the Year for Juvenile Literature award, and her work has been praised by the School Library Journal and Kirkus Reviews. Her book, A Book of Shadowboxes: A Story of the ABC's, won her much acclaim and is a bestseller. She currently lives in San Francisco, California.
