This eight volume set of English history has red cloth boards with impressed border decoration on the front and rear and gold decoration on the spine. There is moderate rubbing on the boards, the spines are darkened but the text is quite readable and there is moderate wear on the bases and crowns. There are bookplates on the inside front covers of each volume and the first few and last few pages are lightly foxed, the hinges are a little dry on a few of the books. 1896 Eversley Edition.
