Johann Ludwig Bleuler made it his life's work to create these 53 engravings of the Rhine region, 24 are aquatints, 29 are steel engravings. This collection is not colored. There is occasional foxing, the tissue protectors are tanned. The boards are leather and marbled paper. The collection is not dated, my date of 1840 is approximate. The printed area of each plate is 6 7/16 x 4 13/16. The paper is 9 5/8 x 7. All orders packed with care, dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011
