An illustrated history of Switzerland executed in the arts & crafts style, this unique book begins in 1191 with the founding of the city of Berne and ends with 1857. This copy is unfortunately dis-bound, the cover is soiled, the spine is shredded, the back and front covers are separated, so the book is in three pieces. The interior is quite tanned , lower right corner has a light stain on the front pages, there are sixteen full-page prints and they are bright and vibrant. Published April 12, 1919 - in French.
