Very nice clean red boards with gilt printing to spine. Light toning to gutter front and back, but pages immaculate. Dustjacket likewise clean with one small tear to top front edge and very mild toning to spine. Has not been price-clipped and is most handsome in brand new mylar. A very readable and relatively hard to find biography by a woman who had previously won acclaim in France as a novelist, the skills for which are evident here. Nemirovsky fell victim to the Nazis in July, 1942 in France, was sent to a camp and was never seen again. 181 pages.
