Povungnituk Eskimo Prints Calendar 1973

This is striklingly beautiful calendar rendered in deep black against cream paper and not commonly found. Its faults do not impact on the design of the prints which are frameable and attractive. Faults include wear to bottom front corner of cover, foxing to reverse of cover, both front and back, and a light bit of foxing to first page which offers information on, and a photo of. the artist, Juanisialuk, in both French and English. Foxng is also found on the back of the final print. Print faces unaffected. Prints depict activities of daily life such as ice fishing, taking home bearded seals, hunting bear, fishing from a kayak, hunting caribou, ets. Prints measure 13" across and 12" high. They are not printed on both sides and the quality of the paper is lovely.
