Very nice, clean catalog for this Virginia Christian military academy designed to prepare boys for college. Spiral bound to lie flat and brown pebbled boards with gilt to face. Measures 8"x11" and has 117 pages. No names or wriiting and pristine pages -- high quality coated paper. Liberally illustrated with black and white photographs. Curiously, there is no date, but the President of the school at this time was Colonel James Caldwell Wicker who in 1950 as head of Fork Union made a splash in educational circles with a new type of curriculum. Th s appears to be from the 50's also, but late fifties, given the fins on the large cars in the parking lot. Offers families an overview of the athletics, educational, and moral aspects of the school. A card pocket at back is empty -- likely contained application. [ ED. ]
