We are offering a brochure printed on both sides of a single sheet to make four pages. It was done by the Ohio Anti-Saloon League which was founded only a year prior to this in1893 in Oberlin, Ohio. The brochure advertises the Summer Campaign of 1894 featuring the Anti-Saloon Agitators, Rev. Howard J. Rusell, State Superintendent, and "those Merry Men of Song, the Aeolian Quartet of Delaware College consisting of E.A. Upham second tenor; J.B. Rogers, 1st tenor; O.O. Keoppel 2nd bass and E.W. Griffiths, firstbBass. Photos of all four on front page (quite handsome fellows!) along with a their musical repertoire including "Agitate, Keep the Ball A'Rolling", "The Saloon Must Go" and "March of Temperance." Inside pages, one each, state the positions of both the Ohio Anti-Saloon League and its foe, the Ohio State Liquor League. The back cover is a full page advertisement for a book entitled "A Lawter's Examination of the Bible" by Howard H. Russell (photo of author) who served as Auperintendent for the League. All proceeds from sales used to raise cash for the summer campaign. Brochure measures 6-1/4"x9-1/2". Light soiling to face in small areas and creasing from having been folded in fourths, but flat and smooth with no wear or tearing to same. Tiny tear to bottom edge at back only fault.
