The only fault is the former owner's name, place, and the date written a bit expansively on dark green front free endpaper. We kind of like lthis, as it gives the book a history and provenance, but may be no be good for gift giving. Book's jacket shows no tears or chips. retains original price and is gorgeous in brand new mylar. This one could cause the seller to wax poetic, but will refrain and simply say that that it brings heart and soul to the art of landscape architecture. It is illustrated nicely with drawings and black and white photographs. Measures 9"x11-1/2" and has 257 pages. A thing of beauty. [ GARDENING ]
